ET has confirmed that
LeRoi Moore, the saxophone player for
Dave Matthews Band, has died. He was 46. According to a statement from his rep, Moore died “unexpectedly” Tuesday afternoon at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles “from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Va.” Moore was in Los Angeles for a physical rehabilitation program to heal his injuries.

Ellen DeGeneres is opening up about her weekend nuptials with actress Portia de Rossi in a new
blog! In the blog post, which was titled “Just Married,” Ellen writes in her usual jokey manner, “I had a big, big weekend. I got married to Portia de Rossi! Sorry, John Stamos… this one’s taken.” On whether the ceremony lived up to expecatations, Ellen writes, “The wedding was everything we hoped it could be. I wish I could’ve invited all of you. But I have some pictures and video I can show you when Season 6 starts on September 8. I can’t wait to see them too… it was all a blur. See you then.” She logs off, “Blissfully yours, The just married Mrs. DeGeneres.”

If you’ve been craving more of “American Idol” season six’s Sanjaya Malakar and his ever-changing hairstyles, you can get your fix in his new ad for Nationwide Insurance. In the new spot for Nationwide’s “Life Comes at You Fast” campaign, the “Idol” hopeful (who was known for his faux-hawk and other unusual hairstyles on the show) heads to India to ask a guru for spiritual counsel. The answer? Get a retirement plan and a haircut! “I’ve got big plans,” Sanjaya says in a Q&A with Nationwide. “I just moved to New York and I’m so excited to be living there. I’m looking forward to pursuing some opportunities in acting and modeling. I’m also beginning work on a new album that will be released later this year. I can’t wait for fans to hear it.” The wacky-haired singer says, “I’m looking forward to showing the world a whole new Sanjaya. ‘American Idol’ was great, but I think there’s a lot more to me than what you saw on the show.”

Shannen Doherty are returning to their old stomping grounds in The CW’s new “90210.” But was their reunion friendly, or full of sparks?
Usmagazine.com reports that Jennie told
TV Guide that she was a bit trepidatious to work with Shannen again, given their highly publicized tempestuous past. “I was a little nervous because I hadn’t seen or talked to her in 14 years,” says Jennie. “Everyone was making it out to be such a big deal that I think we both fell prey to having that affect us.” But Jennie says that when the pair began to do what they were there to do — act together — the chemistry fell back into place. “Once we were working, it felt like a good fit,” she explains.
